Parliamentary elections will be held in #Hungary in April, in which #Orban is polling poorly, so a semi-official delegation of #Russia ‘siloviki’, ‘advisers’ and ‘political technologists’ has been sent to Budapest to avert the crisis using Russian methods – i.e. fraud, propaganda, intimidation and possibly special measures (state of emergency, etc.) https://vsquare.org/goulash-kremlins-vote-meddling-team-in-budapest-slovakias-shady-help-for-arms-group-ipo/ The Russians did exactly the same thing in 2013 and 2014 when Putin’s order to Yanukovych that Ukraine join the Russian Customs Union instead of the EU caused a huge and fully justified wave of public protests. Die EU muss sich ehrlich fragen: Wie lange wollen wir uns in der Mitte Europas noch Regierungen leisten, die bei jeder wichtigen Entscheidung für die Ukraine quer schießen und damit Putins Linie helfen? Ungarn und die Slowakei blockieren, bremsen, erpressen mit Vetos und spielen Europas Sicherheit gegen eine billige innenpolitische Show aus. Wer in so einer Lage ständig Moskaus Agenda bedient, ist kein Partner auf Augenhöhe, sondern ein Risiko im eigenen Haus. Das ist keine „Souveränität“, das ist Sabotage. Wisst ihr noch, wie der bayerische Teil der #CDU in den Aufstieg von Viktor #Orban investierte - in einen auch damals schon offen demokratie- und europafeindlichen Autokraten?
