A poorly maintained 1970s gas lawn mower is a tool.

A well maintained modern gas Toro is a tool.

An electric Ryobi is a tool.

Even a push clipper is a tool.

But the best thing for humanity and the world is to not have an American-style lawn at all.

With this version of the tech we’re talking about, the progression is the same. Until the tech exists without the exploitation (or somehow entirely reverts it), this will remain true.

“ai” is a godsdamned scourge.

Don’t know if I’ve ever had as truly mixed feelings about a game as I do about Dragon Age: Veilguard.

Some honestly terrible writing and VO direction choices. Some really good ones, too. Visually beautiful. Like, gobsmackingly beautiful at times, if a little odd in art direction for some costumes.

Two of my favorite set pieces in any game.

Great opening, slow middle almost enough to kill it for me, absolute BANGER of an ending. (especially if you’ve played all the games)

Someone responds with how their model is so much better, missing the entire point that it’s only better at hiding this fundamental flaw of the technology from the user.
